Sign up, donate, and Macy's will match your gift up to $100!

Your gift will count towards your fundraising goal. The Macy's match will be donated to the AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run General Fund. The match is effective until April 30th or $20,000 in self pledges has been reached.


The 5K Run

"My favorite part of the day?  The joy of running for an important cause."

Runners can support the services and prevention programs of AIDS Action Committee by racing in our 5K Run, a competitive, timed event. The course is fully sanctioned by the USA Track & Field Association. Awards will be presented at the Hatch Shell after the Run.

All runners must sign a waiver and pay a registration fee in order to participate. After signing up, you'll have your own Fundraising Center and personal fundraising page to begin raising money for AIDS Action.

Awards: Engraved awards will be presented to the Top Male and Female Finishers during Closing Ceremonies at the Hatch Shell. Winners will be announced at 12:00 pm.
Runner Gift:
All runners will receive a custom AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run cinch bag the morning of the event!
: There will be two water stops along the course.
Baggage: A baggage check will be available for runners at the event.

Note: The 5K Run is a special event for runners only. Due to public safety concerns, all bikers, walkers, strollers, in-line skaters, scooters, and pets are not allowed on the Run course.
