The Athleta 5K Run

"My favorite part of the day?  The joy of running for an important cause."

Online registration for the 2013 Athleta 5K Run is now closed. You may still register the morning of the run, beginning at 7:30 am at the Run Registration Tent at the Hatch Shell! Please call 617-424-9255 with any questions.

If you will be registering the morning of the run, we encourage you to print and fill out this PDF to bring along with your $30 registration fee.

Early Number Pick-Up will be available at the AIDS Action offices, 75 Amory Street, Boston MA 02119, during the following times:

  • Wednesday, 5/29: 5pm - 8pm
  • Thursday, 5/30: 9am - 5pm
  • Friday, 5/31: 9am - 5pm

Runners can support the services and prevention programs of AIDS Action Committee by racing in our 5K Run, a competitive, timed event. The course is fully sanctioned by the USA Track & Field Association. Awards will be presented at the Hatch Shell after the Run.

Fee: $25 (Pre-registration on or before Friday, May 10th)
        $30 (Registration after Friday, May 10th)

Awards: Engraved awards will be presented to the Top Male and Female Finishers during Closing Ceremonies at the Hatch Shell. Winners will be announced at 12:00 pm.
Runner Gift: All runners will receive a custom AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run cinch bag the morning of the event!
Water: There will be two water stops along the course.
Baggage: A baggage check will be available for runners at the event.
Results: To be posted on www.coolrunning.com.

Note: The 5K Run is a special event for runners only.  Due to public safety concerns, all bikers, walkers, strollers, in-line skaters, scooters, and pets are not allowed on the Run course.
