While the AIDS crisis looks different than it did 25 years ago and the action taken by groups such as AIDS Action Committee have made a huge impact on the extent of the disease, the work is far from over. 1.1 million people are living with HIV in our country; half of those people are not in care and treatment; and 1 in 5 don’t even know they are infected.

At AIDS Action, we have the tools to end new infections, support those affected, and tackle the root causes of this disease. We just need the resources and opportunities to use them.
